Our children enter the program well below grade level. Within a year, they are usually proficient and competitive. This is due, in large part, to the help given by older students who serve as much needed role models. The key to our success is keeping the children involved with a vision of their future. We expect them to show an interest in learning and self-improvement despite negative social influences.
