Our students often come to us with a lack of confidence, poor self-image, few positive role models, and no vision of their future. Through their association with our older youth, staff members and college students, all that begins to change. When they go on a fieldtrip and learn about careers, they say “wow, I could be that!” We get the satisfaction of watching them become happy, productive citizens as they get older.
